Save up to £360 on the price of a new phone in Three's February flash sale
Thinking of getting a new phone with a decent data plan? There are hundreds of pounds worth of savings to be had, including on iPhones, in Three's February flash sale.
Headlining the sale is the iPhone 7, which is available for £49 when taken with a £34 a month contract and 12GB of data. This gives you a total saving of £360.
If you’re prepared to stump up £79, then you can get the Samsung Galaxy S8 for £35 a month or the iPhone 8 for £44 a month. Both come with 12GB of data and a saving of £312.
The Samsung Galaxy S8 was released in the UK last year and is the company’s latest flagship device. It sports a curved design, 5.8-inch display, the Bixby personal assistant and a meaty octa-core processor. It can also double up as a desktop computer if you want to work on a larger screen.
The iPhone 8 debuted alongside the iPhone X in late 2017 and is a more iterative update to the iPhone 7, boasting faster innards and wireless charging.
The Razer phone is also available, costing £49 up front and £30 a month for 12GB of data – a saving of £192. The Android-based Razer is pitched as a smartphone for gamers, promising plenty of power, superior speakers and a high-quality display.
Honor 9, Samsung Galaxy J3 and iPhone SE
Cheaper options include the £19 Honor 9, which is £23 a month for 4GB of data, giving you £192 more in your pocket, and the £17 Samsung Galaxy J3 2017, which is £19 a month for the same amount of data.
You can also get the iPhone SE for £19 and then £19 a month with 4GB of data, a deal which will save you £192. The iPhone SE is an entry-level model aimed at those that want an iPhone experience without the hefty price tag of the flagship devices.
If you’re only looking for a SIM card, then Three has slashed the price of its 30GB plan by £34 to £18 a month. All deals come with unlimited calls and are subject to a 24-month contract.
Three’s 3G and 4G networks cover 97% of the UK population, so coverage shouldn’t be a problem, and customers get a number of perks with their contract. There’s free wi-fi on the London Underground and inclusive streaming for selected services such as Netflix, TVPlayer, Apple Music and Deezer with ‘Go Binge’.
Go Roam lets subscribers use their allowances in 71 countries at no extra cost. In line with EU legislation, this covers Europe, but also far-flung destinations like USA, Australia, Brazil and Singapore.
Finally, the Wuntu mobile app is the place to get exclusive competitions, offers and freebies.
But if any of these deals tickle your fancy you’ll have to be quick as they end on 19 February.
