Sky brings back free gifts with TV bundles deal

Monday, December 14th 2015 by Cable.co.uk

Sky is offering customers a choice of a free gift when they sign up to a Sky TV bundle online.

The provider ran the same promotion over the Black Friday weekend (27-30 November) and it's now available again for a limited time only.

New customers can choose between an LG 32” TV (RRP £249), Samsung Galaxy Tab E, LG Soundbar, 10 movies from the Sky Store or a £100 reward when they sign up to Sky TV online.

The reward options include a £100 voucher for M&S or Tesco, or a £100 prepaid MasterCard.

This offer is available now until midnight on Thursday 17 December. Customers can claim their free gift online at Sky.com once their new TV service is live.

Today is the last day customers can sign up to Sky TV in order to receive the service in time for Christmas.

New TV subscribers will have to pay a £10 set up fee and a 12-month minimum contract applies.

Sky Multiscreen now half price

Sky is also offering new customers access to its Multiscreen service half price for 12 months. Sky Multiscreen allows home users to watch TV in different rooms at the same time.

TV bundles start at £20 a month and there are six to choose from: The Original, The Variety, The Family, The Movies, The Sports and The Complete Bundle. Each bundle includes a Sky+HD box and access to the Sky Go app, which allows you to view up to 70 channels live and on demand.

To use the app, you’ll need a wi-fi connection or 3G/4G mobile broadband plan with sufficient data allowance.

Sky Go was added to the Amazon Appstore earlier this month, meaning that Amazon Fire tablet users who are also Sky customers can use the service.

Sky announced earlier this year that programmes from Channel 5 and ITV were being made available on Sky Go.

Sky TV comes with 240 free-to-air channels and a range of entertainment channels, which vary depending on the package you choose. Sky Movies and Sky Sports are available as add-ons, as well as kids shows, box sets and HD channels.
