Sky cuts price of Family Bundle upgrade for existing TV customers
Sky has reduced the monthly cost of its Family Bundle for customers who already subscribe to Sky TV.
For one week only, Sky subscribers will be able to upgrade to the Family Bundle for an extra £5 per month instead of the usual £8 per month.
The Family Bundle gives you access to over 350 TV box sets including Game of Thrones, A League Of Their Own and Revenge. You’ll also receive 65 entertainment channels (including 50 in HD), Sky 3D and catch up TV.
Sky’s newly launched Sky Kids app is available at no extra cost with the Family Bundle. Sky's kids TV portfolio includes shows such as Boomerang, The Powerpuff Girls and Ben 10.
Sky is also running an offer for new TV customers – if you join Sky before Thursday 21 April you can choose to receive either a 32” LG TV, Samsung Galaxy Tab E or £100 choice of reward (Amazon giftcard, Tesco giftcard or prepaid Mastercard).
This offer is available with all six Sky TV bundles: The Original, Sky Movies, The Variety, The Family, Sky Sports and The Complete.
12 months free broadband
The provider has also extended its 12 months free Sky Broadband Unlimited offer until midnight on Thursday 30 June. Both new Sky customers and existing Sky TV customers can sign up to Sky broadband for free. Customers who are new to Sky will receive a £100 M&S voucher when they place an order for unlimited broadband.
The monthly cost of Sky Broadband Unlimited will revert back to the standard price of £10 per month after 12 months. Customers will have to pay £17.40 per month for line rental and £6.95 for the delivery of a router.
Sky broadband provides speeds of up to 17Mbps. All new broadband customers will receive a Sky Hub router, Sky’s Broadband Shield internet security software and unlimited free access to Sky wi-fi.
Existing Sky customers may notice a change to their monthly TV bill later this year. Sky recently announced it will be increasing the cost of its TV bundles by an average of £2 per month from Wednesday 1 June.
Sky TV customers will be notified of any changes to their bills by letter or email before Friday 29 April.
