Sky offers half price call packages to new TV and broadband customers

Tuesday, May 17th 2016 by Hannah Langston

From now until Thursday 9 June, customers joining Sky TV or buying standalone broadband can get six months half price evening and weekend calls or six months half price anytime calls from Sky.

Sky’s Talk Evenings and Weekend Extra package is now £2 per month for the first six months, then £4 per month.

This gives you unlimited inclusive calls to UK mobile and landline numbers at evenings and weekends including those to 0845 and 0870 numbers.

Sky Talk Anytime Extra is £4 per month, rising to £8 per month after six months. This package includes unlimited calls to UK mobile and landline numbers, including 0845 and 0870, and calls to 22 worldwide destinations for 2p per minute.

Customers will also need to pay £17.40 line rental each month, on top of the package price.

These deals are available to customers signing up to one of Sky’s six TV bundles. The provider is currently offering a 30% discount on The Original, The Variety, The Family, The Movies, The Sports and The Complete bundles.

30% off Family bundle

Sky’s Family bundle, which includes 350 box sets on demand and in HD, is now £26.60 per month for 12 months. Sky’s premium package, The Complete bundle, brings all the entertainment of The Family Bundle plus 11 Sky Movies channels and seven Sky Sports channels in HD, for £56 per month instead of £80.

All bundles come with a free Sky+HD box and a £25 choice of reward (either a Tesco or M&S gift card or a £25 prepaid Mastercard).

Customers subscribing to Sky broadband can also get six months half price on Sky’s Talk Evenings and Weekend Extra and Sky Talk Anytime Extra.

There are three broadband options to choose from: unlimited broadband (up to 17Mbps), 25GB fibre broadband (up to 38Mbps) and unlimited fibre broadband (up to 38Mbps).

Unlimited broadband and 25GB fibre broadband is free for one year, then £10 per month. Unlimited fibre broadband is £10 per month, rising to £20 per month after a year.

Last week Sky announced that existing customers could upgrade to Sky Movies and pay only half price for 12 months or upgrade to Sky Sports and get six months half price until midnight on Thursday 19 May.
