Sky offers Sky Sports for £10 per month

Thursday, January 21st 2016 by Cable.co.uk

Sky is running a flash sale on its Sky Sports package. From Friday 22 January until Monday 25 January, Sky Sports will be available for £10 per month, instead of £25.50, for the first 6 months of a contract.

This deal is only available to existing Sky TV customers upgrading to Sky Sports.

Sky Sports offers seven dedicated channels and includes coverage of live Barclays Premier League games, live cricket, and Formula 1 racing, among other sports programming.

Subscribers also get access to on-demand service Sky Go, where they can watch live matches and highlights.

Sky previously ran a flash sale on its sports packages just before Christmas.

The provider is also offering a 33% discount on selected Sky TV Bundles from Friday 22 January - midnight on Thursday 28 January. New Sky customers will also receive a £25 choice of reward (either a Tesco or M&S gift card or prepaid Mastercard).

Sky TV bundles from £20 per month

Starting from £20 per month, Sky offers six bundles: The Original, The Variety, The Family, The Movies, The Sports and The Complete.

All bundles require a minimum 12-month subscription and a £10 installation fee is also payable.

Sky TV comes with 240 free-to-air channels as standard and a range of entertainment channels, which vary depending on the package you choose. Viewers can choose to add Sky Movies, Sky Sports, kids shows, box sets and HD channels to their package. Sky TV customers also get free access to the Sky Go app, which allows you to watch programmes on demand.

Sky’s New Year deal of 12 months free unlimited broadband for both new and existing customers will remain live until midnight on 25 February. New customers who want broadband without TV can also claim a £75 M&S e-voucher with this deal.

A monthly line rental charge of £17.40 applies and after the first year the monthly charge will increase to £10 plus line rental.

Earlier this week, Sky came out on top in Ofcom’s Quality of Customer Service report. Four in five Sky broadband customers (80%) were satisfied with the provider’s customer service, according to Ofcom.

Sky also beat its rivals in the landline and pay TV categories, scoring 79% and 76% customer satisfaction respectively.
