Sky renews broadcasting deal for golf's the Masters
Sky will remain as the only UK broadcaster to cover all four days of the Masters.
Sky has sealed a new multi-year deal with the Augusta National Golf Course to continue showing live coverage of the Masters.
Taking effect from 2015, the agreement means the pay TV giant will remain the only UK broadcaster to offer all the action from the first Major of the golf season.
Under the deal, viewers will be able to tune in to all four days of the Masters, including exclusive live coverage of the opening two days.
Furthermore, Sky will show the pre-tournament Par 3 Contest and will also offer extra content via the red button, plus highlights each morning on the dedicated Masters Breakfast programme.
Sky Sports was first awarded the rights to the Masters in 2011 and has provided live coverage of the full event ever since.
Barney Francis, Managing Director of Sky Sports, said the broadcaster is "delighted" to have extended its relationship with the Augusta National and described the Masters as a "magical tournament".
"Only on Sky Sports can viewers enjoy all four days live, plus the annual Par 3 Contest, with extra coverage across a variety of platforms," he added.
"We look forward to continuing our coverage of the Masters and providing the coverage this unique golf event deserves."
