NBA London Live 2013 to be screened by Sky Sports

Next week's NBA London Live 2013 clash between the New York Knicks and Detroit Pistons will be aired by Sky Sports.

Sky Sports is set to broadcast next week's NBA (National Basketball Association) London Live 2013 clash as part of an agreement to cover live games for the rest of the current season.

The satellite broadcaster will screen the January 17th fixture between the New York Knicks and Detroit Pistons live from London's O2 Arena, with the game also set to be available in 3D and via Sky Go.

For the remainder of the regular season, coverage will continue with live Sunday night matches, including double-headers on most weekends. The pay TV giant will also feature live NBA Playoff games, as well as the entire Eastern Conference Finals and each fixture from June's NBA Finals.

Sky's agreement with the NBA further bolsters the broadcaster's 2013 line-up, which also includes two Ashes series, the Barclays Premier League, the British and Irish Lions' tour of Australia and more.

Barney Francis, managing director of Sky Sports, said: "This agreement provides even more live content for our customers to watch at home or on the move.

"The NBA has a strong fan base in the UK and the sold-out game at the O2 promises to be a great sporting spectacle."
