The best Samsung Galaxy S7 deals in the January sale

Wednesday, January 10th 2018 by Oprah Flash

Planning on chasing the January blues away with a new phone? If so, a few providers have deals on the Samsung Galaxy S7 so the January sale is a good chance to get your hands on some stellar tech at a decent price.

Released in March 2016, the Samsung Galaxy S7 is just under two years old and at the time of its launch it was Samsung’s flagship handset.

With this phone Samsung added some extra tech and revamped the design to make the Samsung Galaxy S7 stand out in the market. It’s not the newest handset available but because of this you will benefit from the price drop, as most of the hype is now focused on the latest Samsung Galaxy S8 and iPhone X.

It has been praised by tech enthusiasts for its 5.1 inch screen with Quad HD Super AMOLED display perfect for watching videos or playing games. At its launch, the Samsung Galaxy S7 was one of the first smartphones to have a dual 12MP camera enabling you to take clearer, crisper photos.

Running on Google’s operating system, Android, it packs 32GB of internal storage. This should just about be enough to store your favourite apps, pictures and music but if it’s not then you can expand the storage up to 200GB with a Micro SD card. It’s also water and dust resistant.

Samsung Galaxy S7 from £25.49 with EE

From EE you have a choice of three colours, Gold Platinum, Pink Gold and Black Onyx.

In the sale, EE has knocked a fiver off of its 4GEE Essential Plan so you can currently get your hands on the Samsung Galaxy S7 for £25.49 a month. There is a £49.99 upfront cost and in return you’ll get 500MB of data, 500 minutes and unlimited texts.

As an added bonus for being an EE customer you’ll have three months of free access to the BT Sport app.

If you’re looking for a plan with more data to use each month, EE also offers a 4GEE Max Plan with 15GB of data, unlimited calls and texts for £37.99 a month. There’s £9.99 to pay upfront and the contract lasts a minimum term of 24 months.

As a Max Plan it comes with added features. These include faster 4G, roaming in five countries outside of the EU (the USA, Canada, Mexico, Australia and New Zealand) and 24 months of free access to the BT Sport app.

If that hasn’t quite convinced you, EE is also giving away a free six-month subscription to Apple Music.

Free Spotify Premium with Vodafone

You could make a saving of up to £106 if you choose to get the Samsung Galaxy S7 from Vodafone in the January sale.

It’s £28 a month with 1GB of data and unlimited minutes and texts. To get this deal you will have to pay a tenner upfront. Vodafone’s sale ends on Wednesday 31 January so you’ve got just over three weeks to sign up to get this price.

Realistically, you are going to need more data to accompany the Samsung Galaxy S7 and Vodafone has a range of packages that offer decent amounts of data.

The 8GB Red Entertainment plan is £40 a month and comes with unlimited minutes and texts. You will pay £10 upfront. Being an entertainment focused package it also includes a 24-month subscription to either Spotify Premium, a NOW TV Entertainment pass or Sky Sports Mobile TV.

If you’re not that fussed about the free subscription, for the same £40 a month with £10 upfront you can also get a 16GB Red Extra plan. Each month you’ll receive 16GB of data and unlimited texts and minutes.

£80 cashback from BT Mobile

BT offers the Samsung Galaxy S7 in a choice of Pearl White, Black Onyx and Gold Platinum. In the January sale, BT Mobile has put an offer on its Perfect All Rounder Plan by halving the monthly cost for the first six months of the contract. This plan also comes with a free £80 reward card.

You’ll get 6GB of data, unlimited minutes and texts over a 24-month contract and in return you’ll pay £17.50 a month for the first six months then £35 for the remaining 18-months of the contract. There is also a one-off fee of £20 to pay upfront.

The Ultimate Plan has also been boosted with an £80 reward card. When you pay £40 a month with £10 upfront you’ll get 15GB of data with unlimited texts and calls.

Sports fans may be interested to learn that both of the above plans from BT come with free access to BT Sport on your mobile.
