The Champions League semi-finals including Liverpool v Roma will be live on BT Sport
BT Sport will have live and exclusive coverage of the UEFA Champions League semi-finals between Liverpool and Roma and Bayern Munich versus Real Madrid, with the first legs of each tie being played on 24 and 25 April.
Liverpool have reached the semi-final stage of the competition for the first time in a decade and are looking to win their first European title since 2005. They’ll be full of confidence after a sensational 5-2 aggregate victory over Premier League champions Manchester City.
Standing in their path is Italian side AS Roma, who haven’t reached a European semi-final since 1984. That year they reached the final, held in the Italian capital, only to be defeated by... Liverpool. Adding spice to the fixture is the fact that Liverpool’s player of the season Mo Salah will return to face his former side.
The first leg kicks off at 7.45pm on Tuesday 24 April with the return leg starting at the same time on Wednesday 2 May. Both games will be shown on BT Sport 2.
As for the other tie, defending champions Real Madid will hope to become the first team in the Champions League era to win three consecutive titles. Los Blancos have had a disappointing domestic season, but with Cristiano Ronaldo in the side, anything is possible. They face Bayern Munich, who have recovered from a stuttering start to the league season to win yet another Bundesliga crown.
