Can’t get enough of James Corden’s Carpool Karaoke? In that case, it may be music to your eyes to hear/read the news that The Late Late Show with James Corden will return to London to broadcast four special episodes from the historic Central Hall Westminster.

To watch the Emmy award-winning show in the UK, you’ll have to have either Sky TV or a NOW TV Entertainment pass as it will premiere exclusively on Sky One from Tuesday 19 June to Friday 22 June at 10pm.

Expect a British twist on the show’s signature musical and comedy segments, such as Crosswalk: The Musical and Take a Break. James will be joined on set by a star-studded lineup including Cher, Cate Blanchett, Orlando Bloom, Niall Horan and the Foo Fighters, with additional guests to be announced.

'UK spin'

Ben Winston, executive producer of The Late Late Show with James Corden, said: “Broadcasting The Late Late Show from James’s hometown of London last year was such a thrill. Thanks to CBS and our partners at Sky One, we are back for a second year. We are looking forward to a fun week in London, putting a UK spin on our nightly show.”

The British comedian become a household name while playing Smithy in Gavin and Stacey. From here he went on to secure a couple of Hollywood movies, before hosting the Late Late show in March 2015.

The success of the show, specifically the Carpool Karaoke segment, has seen Corden soar in popularity among both British and American audiences.

Back in 2016, Corden racked up more than 180 million Youtube views with his Carpool Karaoke with British songstress Adele.

Philip Edgar-Jones, head of entertainment at Sky, said: “James Corden is one of Sky One’s brightest stars and we are delighted to welcome him home for his London recordings of The Late Late Show. And with such a stellar lineup of guests, it’s going to make British summer time even hotter.”

If you don’t yet have Sky TV, you can sign up to the Sky Entertainment pack for £20 a month. With the Bank Holiday just around the corner, NOW TV is offering a 2 for 1 deal on its Sky Cinema and Entertainment passes.

The Entertainment Pass is £7.99 a month and just under a tenner (£9.99) for the Sky Cinema Pass. Otherwise, there’s the NOW TV Smart Stick that allows your telly to connect to the internet. It’s £14.99 by itself or £19.99 with a two-month Entertainment Pass.
