Up to half price on Sky accessories including Game of Thrones, Star Wars and Premier League Sky TV remotes

Wednesday, February 14th 2018 by Oprah Flash

You know nothing Jon Snow! A classic line from Game of Thrones but we’ve got quite a wait on our hands before we can tuck into season 8. The exact release date has not been confirmed but we’ve heard rumours that it will be some time in 2019.

We’ve got an antagonising wait ahead of us, but in the meantime Sky has a half price sale on Game of Thrones themed Sky TV remotes.

Starting at £7.49 there are three versions of the Game of Thrones themed Sky Q remote covers. A Sky+HD remote in the same theme is £12.49. Not into Game of Thrones? No worries, there are also WWE Undertaker, football, Star Wars and Disney’s Frozen themed covers on sale.

The deal doesn’t just apply to remotes, you can get speakers from £15 and significant discounts on tablets and TVs. Sky has knocked a fiver of the KitSound Boom Cube Portable Bluetooth Speaker in both Black or Gun Metal (grey).

It’s now £87.50 for a Samsung Galaxy Tab E Tablet 9.6. It comes with 8GB of internal storage and connects to the wi-fi.

If you’re looking to buy a TV from Sky the Philips 43” 4K UHD HDR Smart TV with Ambilight has seen its price slashed from £535 to £390 in the Sky Half Term sale.

How to get Sky

If you’re not already a Sky customer you can sign up to a TV package, a broadband deal or a combination of both.

Sky TV prices start at £20 for the Sky Entertainment pack. Over an 18-month contract, you’ll get 370 channels to watch including the free-to-air channels and more than 75 entertainment channels as well as Sky’s premium exports Sky Atlantic and Sky One.

If you’ve already got your telly sorted and you just want a internet connection from Sky, its Unlimited Broadband package, with speeds up to 17Mbps, is £20 a month. As an added bonus, Sky is giving away £50 cashback when you sign up to this plan or any of the other broadband packages. There’s a £9.95 set up fee.

For the same monthly price you can also get Sky Fibre Broadband with speeds up to 38Mbps. While this may be a cheap deal there is a catch, the usage is not unlimited and you will be capped at 25GB which can hinder how much you download and stream.

Sky also has a mobile division. There are deals on the deals on the iPhone SE, which you can get for £10 a month if you recontract Sky TV or there’s a free Samsung Gear VR with the Samsung Galaxy S8 for £29 a month.
