Virgin Media adds CBS Action, NDTV and SET to channel line-up
Three new channels can now be enjoyed by Virgin Media TV customers.
Virgin Media has bolstered its line-up of pay TV channels with the launch of CBS Action, NDTV and Sony Entertainment Television (SET).
The three stations are available from today (December 15th 2011) at no extra cost to all of the cable company's TV subscribers, taking the number of channels added to the Virgin Media electronic programme guide this year to 13.
SET will allow customers to enjoy classic series such as Hustle and Hawthorne, plus movies like Spider-Man 3 and The Thomas Crown Affair.
Action drama show The Agency starring Beau Bridges is one of the highlights on the CBS Action roster, while NDTV is the most watched English news channel in India.
Cindy Rose, executive director of digital entertainment at Virgin Media, said: "We've been working extremely hard this year to deliver a sterling line-up of channels [and] more On Demand content, as well as launching revolutionary new products and services."
High-definition versions of Sky Arts 1 and 2, Dave, Good Food and Watch are among the other new channels to launch on Virgin Media this year.
The most recent addition was the Frank Warren-backed premium sports channel BoxNation, which debuted on December 1st.
