Virgin Media brings new series to digital TV service

Wednesday, April 14th 2010 by Cable.co.uk

Broadband provider Virgin Media has launched a campaign to promote the new series of Sons of Anarchy, which is being broadcast through its digital TV service.

Bundle provider Virgin Media has revealed a new series of Sons of Anarchy is coming to its digital TV platform.

The company, which also offers fibre optic cable broadband and home phone services, has revealed that the second series of the motorcycle gang drama will be shown on the Bravo channel later this month.

According to Media Week, the first series of the show was the channel's highest rating drama, so the new season is being heavily promoted on terrestrial TV.

Jo Davey, head of marketing at Virgin Media Television, told the website: "Sons of Anarchy more than doubled its audience in the US during this series and had huge critical acclaim.

"This campaign absolutely positions Bravo as the ultimate home of brave, premium drama that you have to discover."

Virgin Media recently launched its new V HD set-top box, which is available to new and existing subscribers for a one-off fee of £49.
