Virgin Media launches broadband, TV and phone ad campaign

Friday, February 4th 2011 by Cable.co.uk

The new advert will be screened for the first time on Saturday night on ITV1.

Virgin Media's new advertising campaign for its fibre optic broadband, next generation cable TV and mobile services will premiere this weekend.

The promo, which has been given the title A More Exciting Place To Live, will air for the first time on Saturday night (February 5th 2011) during ITV1 shows Primeval and Take Me Out.

Anyone keen to take a sneak peak at the ad can watch it online from today, while the initiative will also see Virgin Media take over the homepage of social media giant Facebook tomorrow.

Richard Larcombe, advertising and sponsorship director at the cable company, said: "People are using more services, devices and gadgets more of the time and Virgin Media is helping families lead a limitless digital life."

The internet service provider's last major campaign - to raise awareness of its super-fast broadband offerings - was launched with a 20 sq m billboard made entirely of cheese that was erected in London's Covent Garden.
