Virgin Media to launch Britain's Next Top Model website

Tuesday, June 15th 2010 by Cable.co.uk

Digital TV provider Virgin Media is launching a special website to support the new series of Britain's Next Top Model.

Bundle provider Virgin Media has revealed it is backing one of its leading digital TV shows with a new website.

A standalone site is set to be launched to support the upcoming series of Britain's Next Top Model, which will be shown on Living over the summer and will be presented by Elle Macpherson.

Broadcast reports that the site has been created by Numiko and will include profiles of all of the contestants, as well as beauty advice and links to social networking websites.

Tanya Carus Blacher, digital partnerships manager at Virgin Media TV, told the website: "This year's season of Britain's Next Top Model is really raising the bar for the show; with Elle, a high definition production and now a gorgeous, glossy, socially-integrated site."

At the end of last month, Virgin Media announced it has added a new karaoke channel to its digital TV service.

The Karaoke Channel is available to XL subscribers at no extra charge.
